A Starry, Starry Night

Hullo! Its sooo good to be back! This may be one of the best feelings in the world, I tell you. The summer holidays are on, and I'm quite sure these temperatures have never been recorded before. I needed to find something to fill my time, so I have begun sketching and occasionally painting. I'm so pleased, I've decided this *needs* an exclusive label. So, ladies and gentlemen (drumroll) I present to you, The Pencil.
What I've decided is that I will be posting each of my paintings with an individual description written just for it. I stayed up almost all night doing this one, and its called a Starry, Starry Night. (Kinda like Coldplay, 🎶 look at the stars, look how they shine for you🎶)

The stars looked like silver powder sprinkled along a dark background. They glimmered and gleamed, lighting up the darkness. The moon kept watch over the wilderness and stars, like a proud father watches over his children. It bathed the scene in a soft, silvery light. The smell of  pine filled the air, reminding one of the trees put up in their living rooms during Christmas. The gurgling of the stream filled one's mind, and bought peace and calm to those who sought it. Walking barefoot, one could feel the soft grass underneath the soles of their feet, with the slight dampness of jewel-like drops of dew. There might have been predators hiding in the darkness, but the scenic beauty and serene calm overwrote the feelings of fear and replaced them with wonder and awe. The chirping of crickets filled the air, as they came out of their homes to enjoy the night. It was a perfect spot for a getaway, far away from the bustling and noise of the concrete jungles we call home. It was a starry, starry night, a night like any other, but unique in its own way.
