The Monsoon Magic
Hey guys! So this is my edited version of what I wrote last time, which had some issues, but I ended up sorting out. I've always really loved the rain, and this is actually what came out of the first rains. I hope you guys like it.
So here it is, The Monsoon Magic, re imagined.

The Monsoon Magic
She strolled down the street, a lonely figure in the pouring rain. The world was painted in muted shades of grays and blues, but it would soon be in technicolor. Every drop of rain shimmered prismatic as it fell, seeming to her eyes like broken glass falling from the heavens. Mother Nature was washing her world clean of the dust and the heat, and everything would be brightened after the storm.
A myriad of emotions swirled around in her head, all with undertones of nostalgia. It was like walking down memory lane and setting up camp there. The rain had uncovered so many memories, each more vivid than the other.
She remembered her carefree childhood; splashing around, making a mess she knew she would regret.
She recalled groaning in despair as her latest novel was drenched (even though she knew it had been long coming).
Lounging by the windowsill with her feet hanging out and music blaring in her ears, letting herself sink into the words and the melody.
Rushing out into the torrent, and a million breakdowns the rain had comforted.
A smile tugged at her mouth; and she twirled her umbrella and let it fall. She let the droplets take her. The wind picked up and created a swirling vortex of water. She didn't believe in magic, but the rains had their own special kind. She felt it in the delightful sting as the rain pelted her face. She felt it whenever the wind brushed past.
No, she didn't believe in magic, but the monsoon magic, that was something else altogether.
