Introduction

My name is Anika and this is my blog. As you have probably guessed, my main interests are music and writing, thus leading to the name. This blog will be updated every Sunday, since that is the only day of the week I even get time to breathe. The posts will dedicated to my essays and school activities. If I think any of my writings are really good, they'll come on here. I'm definitely what you call a voracious reader, so if any books interest me, or if I just want to write something about them, I'll come here. I'll be posting beginning this Sunday, and I'll begin with my old school essays. I'd love to know your opinion on them, so feel free to comment. ;)

A Starry, Starry Night

Hullo! Its sooo good to be back! This may be one of the best feelings in the world, I tell you. The summer holidays are on, and I'm quite sure these temperatures have never been recorded before. I needed to find something to fill my time, so I have begun sketching and occasionally painting. I'm so pleased, I've decided this *needs* an exclusive label. So, ladies and gentlemen (drumroll) I present to you, The Pencil. What I've decided is that I will be posting each of my paintings with an individual description written just for it. Yes, I know. It's been a while. And instead of greeting you guys with yet another indecipherable allegorical mess, I bring something that is potent in it's relevancy and unprecedented in it's ignored-ness.
